I knit with such a frenzy in the last three months that I'm almost *gasp* knitted out! In fact, my brain's been so fried the best I can do at the moment is a dishcloth and that is taking me more than a week! But there is light at the end of the tunnel - after the dishcloth is finished, I'll be designing and knitting my own version of a pony tail hat. I've researched patterns and haven't found anything I really like so I thought "why not!" I have a friend whose daughter wants one in bright pink. I have the yarn, Full o' Sheep in Peony. I can't wait to get started! So I guess I'll have to finish that dishcloth soon!
After the hat, I'll be starting a neckwarmer using Reynolds Caviar yarn in a gorgeous purply blue with a gold thread. I'm hoping it will be stunning! So this is my plan for January so far... I'm also hoping to learn how to spin a little bit later this month. A friend let me know of a beginner's class that is a one night only thing and I'm pretty interested! Even if it's only to learn something new and I never do it again, at least I will have tried something different! Yay, me!
Ok, keeping this short today - the wild man is patiently (not) waiting for me to play Donkey Kong with him :) LOL!
Be safe and happy knitting!

Where is the pic of the hubby sweater?
ReplyDeleteHubby has to wear it long enough for me to take a pic! Danged thing is so warm he couldn't wear it during our late Dec/Jan heat spell :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the sweater on him either. Thanks for the table runner love. I'm thinking of making another in different colors so that I can change things around for the different seasons/holidays that come around. Glenn's sweater is being made in sections with the pattern I'm using. Not so bad being I learned how to seam things together the right way now. Can't wait to see how your pony tail hat turns out with the gorgeous pink you are using. :) Love your snowman in the other post!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!!
