Tiring Tuesday

Poor hubby had to do the brunt of the work today as I am terrified of heights and ladders!  Poor man hauled in all his equipment and prepared to do a day of tall wall work and I must say - it came out terrifically!  He did a fantastic job and I'm starting to realize we'll have this place all painted in no time!

And I managed to get a tiny bit of knitting in - not as much as I would have liked but 15 mins of knitting is still knitting time!

I've had two killer anxiety attacks, one today and one Sunday (the worst one ever) and I know I'm overly stressed with the wild man's behavior as well as some inconsistent parenting philosophies that hubby as I are desperately trying to work out.  I've been praying that this panicky stuff was gone but I guess it's my body's way of grabbing me by the chest, screaming "Wake up!  This is not working!"  Just wish it was a less painful way of getting my attention.  *sigh*  I am in desperate need of Spring to come!

Father, I am in need of your amazing strength and grace.  You know how long I've been battling this anxiety and you know why it came in the first place.  I'm tired of trying to fight it on my own.  I need your healing touch, Lord.  I have so many things to praise you for and to offer my gratitude for, not the least of which is upstairs sleeping in his freshly painted lovely room.  I offer him to you - cover him with your love and peace, let him know you are listening to him.  He prayed to you tonight, "Dear God, thank you for everything. Amen."  It was the sweetest sound I could possibly hear and a precious gift.  Thank you, Father, it was what I needed to hear.  He is hearing about You and questioning who You are and I've been praying for that.  I thank you for my darling husband, who despite everything, still climbs up on a ladder that's too high for me so he can do something that will make me happy.  I love him so much!  You are gracious, Lord. I pray these things and more - you know what is in my heart.  In Christ's precious name, Amen.

Have a lovely evening, my dears!
